World Series Event highlights

VACATION DESTINATIONS
The Baseball World Series is held at family vacation destinations close to water parks, thrill parks, beaches and more, giving your team’s families an extended weekend of games & FUN!
5 GAME GUARANTEE
Each team will play 5-7 games (weather permitting) over the course of the 4 day tournament giving you plenty of Baseball against similar competition!
SKILLS
Following check-in, teams will compete in a skills competition that will consist of Road Runner, Around the Horn, Home Run Derby, and Golden Arm.
ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAMS
Opposing coaches will nominate players from your team to be named to the Baseball World Series All-Tournament Team. All nominees will receive special invitations to the prestigious Baseball Youth All-American Games held in August and late December / early January!
UNIQUE DOUBLE-SIDED BRACKET

The World Series experience

Your first day at the Baseball World Series kicks off with a quick check-in to welcome teams from across the country!

Following check-in, teams will compete in a skills competition that will consist of Road Runner, Around the Horn, Home Run Derby, and Golden Arm.

Your team will continue the pool play round of the Baseball World Series. Each team will play 3 pool play games to determine your seeding for bracket play. During your time around the games enjoy all the local thrill parks, water parks and more from the surrounding vacation destination!
Your team will wrap up their pool play games and depending on seeding, will begin double-sided bracket play. The Baseball World Series features a unique double-sided bracket with Gold, Silver and depending on number of teams, Bronze and Consolation brackets as well, giving your team numerous opportunities to take home a trophy!

Your team will compete in either the Gold, Silver, Bronze or Consolation bracket! Baseball World Series All-Tournament teams will be recognized and special Baseball Youth All-American Game invitations will be handed out! It will be a great time to celebrate your team’s incredible experience at the Baseball World Series!

The Colonel Thomas ‘Buddy’ Styers Athletic Complex @ Grand Park

The Colonel Thomas ‘Buddy’ Styers Athletic Complex @ Grand Park features seven large multipurpose fields and two youth fields. All have synthetic grass and lights and are designed to accommodate a variety of sports, including baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, and football. The complex also has a six-tunnel batting cage, plenty of parking and three towers for restrooms and concessions. Overflow games, if necessary, will also be played at the beautiful Ned Donkle Field Complex just a few miles from Grand Park.

When your athletes aren’t competing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, they’re still playing. With 60 miles of beaches, amusement, and water park rides, 2,000+ restaurants, free live music all over the place and endless attractions, athletes and fans of all ages are going to have fun in Myrtle Beach.

FAQS

Important - Stay-To-Play Policy

Our policy states that all teams outside of 90 miles are required to stay with our partnering hotels. This list can be found on the Baseball World Series website under the hotels tab in the top right corner. As a Stay-To-Play event provider all teams AND individuals will complete the hotel lodging process through the event website, not directly with the hotel.

This policy requires teams to have at least 32 room nights through our hotels. If this cannot be met, then an alternate lodging fee will be added to the registration. Alternative lodging fees are $1300.00 per team and allow teams to stay wherever they want if paid.

Your team is guaranteed to play at least 5 games, weather permitting, but depending on your team’s success, you can play several more!

The official tournament schedule will be sent out and posted on our website one week before the tournament. An idea of what to expect:

Day 1: Pool Play games begin at 10:00 AM. The mandatory Coaches’ Meeting will take place around 8:30 AM for all teams, regardless of their first game time. Pool Play continues throughout the day.

Day 2: Pool Play games continue until completed. Skills Competitions may also take place on this day, depending on field availability.

Day 3: Bracket Play begins at the scheduled time. If Skills Competitions were not completed on Day 2, they will be held on Day 3.

Day 4: Bracket Play concludes. Championship games are typically played on this day.

Day 5 (If Scheduled): This is a rain day. Not all locations have this day built into the schedule, so please check your specific event dates. If weather delays occur, games may be pushed to this day instead of being played late into the night.

In the event of rain or lightning delays, you will be notified as soon as updates are available from the park and a new schedule is in place. Please be patient–if conditions allow, we will be prepared to play on the fifth day to ensure as many games as possible are completed.

Each team may include up to two players who qualify under the grade-based eligibility exception:

  • One player may be born after January 1 of the calendar year of the event.
  • One player may be born within 30 days of the age cutoff.

If a team exceeds this two-player limit, they will be required to play in the next age division up. Failure to comply with this rule (by rostering more than two players above the specified requirements) will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.

If you need to cancel your registration, please follow the steps below:

  1. Please notify us immediately by emailing Tyler Fitch at tfitch@athletx.com
  2. If your team has already booked hotels, please log in to your online lodging portal to complete the necessary cancellation steps. If you’re unsure how to do this, contact hotels-baseballworldseries@athletx.com for assistance.
  3. Per our Terms of Service, if you cancel your registration at any time, Athletx Sports Group will issue you a credit valid through the end of the 2026 season.

This credit can be applied to any Athletx-hosted tournament, which you can find here:

INDIVIDUAL EVENTS:
Baseball Youth All-American Games – (3rd-9th Grade)
Game Day USA Junior All-American Games – (2nd-10th Grade)
Game Day USA All-Star Weekend – (8U-16U)

The event insurance is different from your team’s limited liability policy required to play in the tournament.

The event insurance offered during registration applies if Athletx Sports Group or the Youth World Series has to cancel your age group or the tournament for covered reasons. If this is the case, then if the event insurance is purchased, you will receive a refund instead of a future credit.

If the event insurance is not purchased, then teams will receive a credit toward a future Athletx Sports Group event that is valid for 24 months.

Teams are welcome to bring pins to exchange with other teams; however, there is no designated time set aside in the schedule specifically for pin trading. We recommend coordinating with other teams during Skills Competitions or downtime between games if you’d like to trade pins.

Every event has a gate fee. The standard gate fee for our events is $75 per rostered player. Kids under the age of 12 are admitted free to the event.

The team registration fee allows admittance for all players and 3 coaches.

You will receive a wristband or stamp at the point of entry to the event.

To better serve our teams and spectators, we will no longer collect gate fees from individuals on site. Instead, we will be auto-drafting your $750.00 per team (covers your athlete and all spectators in your party) gate fee pass on 6/8/26. This will also allow free flow of passage in and out of the complexes without having to worry about gate pass lines, cumbersome on-site payments, and other inconveniences. This gate fee is required for all teams, regardless of the number of games played. All gate fees must be paid prior to the start of the event.

*Does not apply to Texas or Myrtle Beach locations. Gate passes are purchased through those individual parks.

Yes! Tournament shirts will be available for pre-order, and you’ll receive both text and email communication when the pre-order process begins in the spring.

We strongly recommend pre-ordering, as shirts always sell out on-site.

  • Pre-Order Price: $30
  • On-Site Price: $35

Please note: All communication will be sent to the email and phone number of the person who registered the team. It is that individual’s responsibility to share pre-order information with parents and players.

Once your registration fee is paid, please note the following:

  • No cash, check, or credit card refunds will be issued for any reason, unless the event is canceled by the host due to low attendance or canceled due to inclement weather. 

  • This policy applies to all registrations, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, here’s what you need to know:

  • We will do everything reasonably possible to complete the event.

  • If an event is completely canceled due to weather or field conditions:

    • You will be given the option to transfer your registration to another Athletx Sports Group event in the upcoming season or the next season. Transfers are subject to event availability and registration deadlines.

    • OR if we cannot find an alternate event then we will issue a refund.

  • We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or any other expenses related to a canceled or relocated event.

Last-Minute Drops:
If you cancel or drop out within 2 weeks of your scheduled event, you will not receive a credit for a future event.

Can I transfer my registration to another event or brand?
Yes! If you’re unable to attend your originally scheduled event, you can transfer your registration to another Athletx Sports Group tournament — even if it’s under a different brand like Baseball Youth or Softball Youth.

We’re happy to help you make the switch. Just reach out to us, and we’ll assist you in finding a suitable event. Our brands work closely together, and we’re flexible when it comes to helping families make the most of their registration.
